The Journey

Why a bus.

Five hosts. One bus. Wednesdays between now and UNBOUND. The destination is Boston in September — when HubSpot's UNBOUND conference (the artist formerly known as INBOUND) takes over the BCEC.

The show is about HubSpot the way a road trip is about gas stations: you stop, you fill up, you keep driving. We're not here to lecture about the platform. We're here to talk around it — about the work, the people, the strange edges, the running gags. Entertaining first. Educational second.

Chris drives. Rob plays tour guide and wears orange (his orange, not the show's). George is the long-tenured voice from the back, hallway philosopher with the beard. Casey brings the cultural antenna and the sharp self-deprecation. Kyle's calling in from a small Riverside window in Boston, dry as the New England autumn, with the closest connection to where this whole thing ends.

"Five voices, one bus. Nobody's perfectly equal in every frame. The bus breathes."

We have a running tally. Anyone who says "Inbound" instead of "UNBOUND" gets a slip on the counter. It's a wink. A scoreboard, not a dashboard.

We have mile markers. Some episodes get tagged to a state, a city, a stretch of interstate. The map runs Texas → Mississippi → North Carolina → Maryland → Boston. It's not literal. It's a vibe. The vibe is editorial.

We're aiming for something that doesn't look like anything else in the HubSpot ecosystem and doesn't look like anything else in the podcast-site genre. Travel poster meets sports doc meets a road atlas your dad kept in the glovebox.
